Dear friends, Stop these coaching institutes and drilling sessions - You guys having graduated from IITs have not even pursued technical careers that itself is ample proof to show what kind of a system you have been through. Definitely I cant blame you. And now, even worse you are going on to produce some more people of the same breed. That is why you can see before 1990's there was the real cream of students from IIT. Now, you can see several students who top the regular university engineering examinations are able to pursue top-notch scientific research oriented careers. Just solving a bunch of problems doesn't establish your scientific temper. You are just a freak and freaks can never make good researchers.Strong experimental skills, patience, determination and most importantly, Methodical study is what is required and over the past 10 years the IIT system has terribly failed in this aspect especially because of the narrow mindset of the students making IIT coaching centers as a pilgrimage center.
